YEAR
When I first started, I was just a little boy messing around with Photoshop. I got the hang of it and started learning the basics of this program. These artworks kicked off my interest in this specific art field and pivoted my creativity from sketches and simple drawings to graphic design and digital art.
I still can't decide if this year was the worst or the greatest year in my life. In the year 2021, I was skyrocketing in the art scene of Kuwait's community. My efforts at the Syndicate of Media and Artists in Kuwait paved the way to major exposure to my art and design, yet at the height of my climax and during a prestigious event (a memorial art exhibition for the late Amir of Kuwait, Sabah Al Ahmed Al Sabah), I suffered a life-threatening encounter. I got stabbed and attacked on the second day of the event after my major news/social media exposure by thugs trying to steal some of the artwork in the exhibition. I stayed 8 months recovering and learning how to walk again. What makes me optimistic about this year is the bounce back I experienced during my recovery. with a broken leg and crutches, I started my first media and advertising company/production house (Trinquete Co.) with 5 successful partners and accumulated thousands of Kuwaiti Dinars during my recovery journey, learning how to walk and how to mange such a company.
2018 was a pivotal year for me; I went in depth with digital design for multiple products, such as the two event planning companies that I was associated with and founded. My quick and unique design at that time was unheard of in Kuwaiti culture. Introducing Western influence and design with Arabian flavor added to it created a cluster of cool designs in my opinion. these designs gave me the privilege to create the official logo to the 60-year-old theatre group Shaabi Theatre Groupe, one of the 5 major governmental theatre companies in Kuwait.
During the traumatic year of 2020, with the global pandemic and the uncertainty of living conditions, an opportunity arose for me to take design to the next level and start my freelancing work during my studies at the College of Arts and Design at PAAET. This year was a stepping stone to what was coming when I created the Trinquete Co. logo for a client turned partner for realizing my potential. I also created multiple designs and collaborations for multiple brands that ranged from clothing lines all the way to law firms.
In the year 2022, I successfully recovered from my injuries and went full speed back to work on more designs for events. My work with the Syndicate gave me a major opportunity to be in the head department of events and graphic design, giving me the privilege of meeting and working with worldwide-known celebrities in the music industry like Drake and Travis Scott in Riyadh for Riyadh Season. I also was blessed to work with amazing individuals in the film industry, continuing the annual Cinema Awards. Adding on to the work, I had a blast collaborating with professionals in the cosplay world to create a summit web design that later turned into a huge annual event.
The year 2023 was a transitional year in the world of art, with the introduction of artificial intelligence and easier maneuvering with design programs, and integrating it with my skill set of graphic design created these amazing artworks. Note that AI is a tool to manifest ideas and experiments, yet not a fully dependent attribute for full creative artworks and designs.
2024 was an amazing year filled with projects that burst my creativity, especially with 3D designs. I had the opportunity to manifest such amazing designs under the mentorship of my dearest friend Rajaa. She gave me the task of holding the creatives of a major real estate project for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia called Greek Town. Also, this year was filled with creative obstacles in the general trading sectors, which gave me the humbling task of creating brands for online stores for a newly established company of mine called LinkersCapital.
2025 is a promising year for my designs for great ideas, one of which is an application called Dibra, along with a clothing brand for women's yoga under the trademark Poshura. In addition, I've experimented with AI software to produce stunning visuals as an add-on in my creations to show my up-to-date skill set in this fast shaping world of art and design. The video attached above was created for an art exhibition for Kuwait's National Independence Day, previewing all of Kuwait's late great Emirs from the first to the present, turning a still image to life.
